Out & About: Vogue Café Introduces Arabian Menu For Ramadan


In line with Level Shoe District's Arabian Pearl Heritage theme running throughout the holy month of Ramadan and in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation, Vogue Café is featuring it's Pearls of Wisdom menu, a bespoke Arabian menu infused with the authentic flavours of the Middle East.

Indulge in the traditional spread of an Arabian home with Vogue Café's selection of Arabic mezze, which includes hummus, babaganoush, crisply calamari and stuffed green olives.For main courses the café offers delectable Homemade Kofta, succulent Lamb Cutlet and a seafood platter incorporating the finest grilled seafood from the pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf.Treat yourself to a fine array of desserts offered on the menu from the traditional Umm Ali to the more contemporary Honey & Yoghurt Mousse.

While dining, prepare to be mesmerized by the artistic talent of the Arabian peninsula as part of Level Shoe District will be converted into a ‘Majlis’, where talented Arabic musician Basel will be performing traditional Arabic music on electric oud.Adding to this atmosphere, weekly poetry reading sessions will be taking place every Tuesday from 9pm to 10pm at Vogue Café.

Works of several Arabic artists will also be on display throughout Level Shoe District, including renowned sand artist Shaima Al Mughairy from Oman who will perform in store exclusively on July 31st from 5 to 10pm, and the UAE's own Mattar Bin Lahej whose famous 3D steel calligraphies and sculptures that integrate circular shapes, brings to life the concept of the Pearls of Wisdom.

Other exciting activities include live traditional calligraphy on plates, introduction to the pearl culture, opening of live shells and customization of fresh pearls.Eat and be serenaded with Arabian beauty this Ramadan at Vogue Café which has just the right food and ambience to take you on the most hospitable of Arabian journeys.
